MOM & DARLENE IN VISIONAIRE
I photographed my mom, Clara Krasilcic and Darlene de Souza, a girl who lived in the streets of São Paulo, both wearing Susan Cianciolo clothes for Visionaire in 1996.
The idea was bring into discussion the opposite extremes of older/younger, richer/poorer and black/white in Brazil.
My mom's make-up was supposed to look like a mask and Darlene's like bruises.
Some local newspapers picked up on the story which became a national commotion and was discussed in all the tv news programs.
At the end we managed to find Darlene a good rehab place to stay for several months.

MOLLY SIMS IN BERLIN
Molly Sims in Berlin for German Cosmo in 1997.
This story had so many pages that we decided to divide the shoot into almost two stories.
The color images were suposed to look more commercial and the B&W more conceptual with a sense of desperation. I think Molly was very confused at first but she ultimatelly understood and enjoyed it all.
